SHORELINEEROSION CONTROL (561) 309 9603

There is a fix that holds and a fix that fails. Here is the difference.

Cross section of a lake bank The dashed line shows an eroded bank that has cut back toward the homes with a small cliff at the waterline. The solid green line shows the same bank rebuilt to a gentle slope with grass rooted to the water. Back of the homes Lake

Why the usual repair does not last

Most contractors will regrade the slope and lay new sod. On the day the crew leaves, it looks great. But nothing is holding the bottom of the bank, where the water does its damage, and new sod on loose fill never gets the chance to root before the next heavy rain. Within a few wet seasons the slope slides back to where it started, and the board pays for the same job again.

What we do instead

We rebuild the slope from the waterline up with leading edge technology, so the grass roots into the bank instead of just sitting on top of it. As the roots grow, the shoreline knits itself together.

Why residents barely notice us

The normal way to do this work brings heavy equipment in behind the homes. That tears up lawns, cracks walkways, crushes sprinkler heads and knocks down the fences you are trying to save. We developed our own installation method that keeps the work at the bank and out of residents' yards. We do not publish how we do it.

The steps

  1. A free lake bank walk. We measure and photograph every section.
  2. A written report and a scope your board can put out to bid.
  3. A Proof Section of about 100 feet where residents can see it, with the fee credited to the full job.
  4. The full repair, phased by lake to fit your budget.
  5. A 5 year material and 5 year labor warranty, in writing.
  6. Inspections in years 3, 5, 7 and 9, each with a written report for your minutes.

Start with a free lake bank walk

We measure and photograph every section of your bank, and you get a written report you can put in front of the board. It is yours to use whether you hire us or not.
